Surrey Museums Month



Every April, Surrey Museums Month celebrates Surrey’s 43 amazing museums and galleries. For 2016, Surrey Museums Month theme is “Terrific Trees' with many events, exhibitions and activities for all ages including an i-spy Family Challenge for prizes! Leaflets are available in museums and the Surrey History Centre in Woking. Surrey Museums Consultative Committee

Celebrating Surrey 2010Surrey Museums Consultative Committee (SMCC) in an expanding and vibrant advocate for museums, communities, learning and enjoyment. We are an umbrella organisation working on behalf of museums  in Surrey working in partnership with the district and borough councils of Surrey and Surrey County Council. We provide advice, information and practical assistance to anyone connected with Surrey's museums and we develop partnerships with those in tourism, arts, heritage, culture, education, archives, libraries and area museum councils.
