Size: 200 Specimens

Content:
Pleistocene-Recent mammal bones, teeth and antler from local gravel pits at Thorpe, Littleton, Staines, and Shepperton.

These include those of woolly mammoth (teeth),wild ox and auroch (horn cores and skulls), long horned cow, wild horse, wild boar, goat, red deer, fallow deer, and reindeer (antlers). The latter is a particularly interesting find.

There are one or two other fossils (flint sea urchins etc.from the gravels) but otherwise not much.
