Digging into the Past!
(and Maths, English, Science...)
To help Keystage II teachers use archaeology in the classroom,
Surrey Museums Consultative Committee has produced an archaeological resource
pack. As well as explaining topics such as what Archaeology is and how
we learn about the past, the pack contains suggestions for lesson plans
involving Archaeology.
The pack is designed to be used by teachers who do not have
direct experience of the subject but want to include it in their classes.
It also shows how Archaeology can be used in Maths, Science, English,
Art, CDT and RE lessons.
