Train:

Gomshall Station is 15 mins walk (1 mile)

There is a small shop selling local publications, cards and books

Games, puzzles, quiz sheets, a toy bos for tinies and sometimes a magic lantern show

Easter - 30 Sept Daily: (except Wed and Sat): 13:00-17:30. Other times throughout the year, including evenings, can be arranged by phone

Guided walks around the village on summer evenings, finishing in the museum. Booking essential

Facilities and Equipment:

The archives include information and pictures of Shere and the locality. There are also local genelogical reords, maps, property sales, wills etc. Phone first.

Accepted parties:

School parties are enjoyed and the curator will adapt to ensure the children get both knowledge and pleasure from their visit. Teachers are invited to call to discuss their requirements beforehand. School visits must be booked in advance.
