for Primary and Secondary Schools. Museums today can offer exciting forms of
collaboration between teachers, museums curators and education officers to provide
children with outstanding educational experiences. Two programmes, shot around
Britain, show excellent examples of this work in practice - one focusing on
primary schools, the other on secondary. Projects for primary children always
involve active learning. Work for secondary pupils is more concerned with museum
collections and practical problem solving. Both programmes demonstrate the importance
of preparation and follow-up work.
